Kevin began his career in the Real Estate business as a Legal Consultant to a major county's affordable housing, community and economic development agency. Finding a passion for the affordable housing arena, he became the Area Manager for that organization before moving on to become the Asset Manager for a large city Housing Authority. Kevin currently oversees the operations of 22 properties of tax credit, HOME funds, Bond, and public housing communities.
Kevin holds the designations of HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional), SCS (Site Compliance Specialist), PHM (Public Housing Manager) as well as being certified in Asset Based Management for Public Housing and Low Income Housing Tax Credit Property Manager. He has also served as a PIC Coordinator and sat as a panelist several times regarding the PIC system.
Kevin is an active member of the American Bar Association Forum Committee on Affordable Housing and Community Development Law and the Texas Bar Association Section on Real Estate, Probate & Trust. He is a veteran of Desert Storm, graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Western State University, holds a broker's license in the state of California and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas.
