Principal

A graduate of the University of Texas, Kirk began his real estate management career in 1976. After working five years on site and as a property supervisor, Kirk spent four years as Vice President of a local apartment development company. In 1986, Henson Tate Management Company was founded with Kirk serving as President. This company evolved into Orion Real Estate Services in 1991 with Kirk again serving as President. Since 1986, his company has managed over 10,000 units for all types of clients ranging from the single asset client to the largest of institutional client.

In addition to his work career, Kirk has been active in several local apartment associations having served as president of the Galveston Country Apartment Association and The Houston Apartment Association. In addition, he is a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Apartment Association where he currently serves as an officer. Kirk has also served the National Apartment Association as a committee chair and delegate representing the state of Texas.
