Regional Principal

In 1980, Mike began his real estate career as a Section 8 project-based site manager and area manager for a Michigan based owner/developer. He then gained multifamily expertise as a Regional Manager, Training Director, Management Director, and Development Officer for residential portfolios that included LIHTC, 80/20, Bond, FmHM 515, and Conventional A, B & C properties within single family, garden, high-rise, and mixed-use environments. Prior to partnering with Orion, Mike led the asset management division of an international public corporation overseeing a national portfolio of LIHTC general and limited partnership interests. As President of the eastern division, Mike is responsible for Orion's business development and operations in the eastern United States.

Mike received his MBA from Florida Atlantic University and graduated with high honors in both his undergraduate and graduate business administration programs. Mike's commitment to education and the multifamily industry continues as he earned his CPM, HCCP, FMMFI, and he currently serves on the Board of Directors for Housing Credit Certified Professionals (HCCP) with the National Association of Home Builders.
